The Harbour School, Wilburton, Cambridgeshire
"Stronger Together"
We are pleased to welcome you to our school website on behalf of the pupils, staff and governors.
The Harbour School opened in September 2003. It is a county maintained day and residential special school for boys aged between 5 and 17 who have social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Pupils attend this school from all over Cambridgeshire. There are places for 80 pupils, up to 17 of whom will be residents throughout the week in term-time.
The School is set in quiet wooded land in the village of Wilburton, near Ely. There has been a school on this site since 1955. An extensive building programme began in Autumn 2006 and was completed for the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009. This included new classrooms and specialist teaching rooms, a refurbished residential block, and an additional sports facility.
"the Harbour School is a good and rapidly developing school".
Ofsted 2005
"The school takes really good care of pupils and provides them with very effective support during
the school day and for boarders in residential hours.'
